#3 | Oliver Price’s Birthday Bash

Oliver Price3

UK poker pro Oliver Price surely enjoyed his birthday weekend, netting 3 event results on Sunday’s online poker grind, collecting over $42K for a few hours work – not bad for a weekend payday!

Price earned a victory in the Super Sized Sunday event and collected a 5th place finish in the Sunday Major over on Full Tilt. Meanwhile Price, who represented Team UK at the GPI Poker World Cup back in March, also earned a 4th place finish in the Bigger 109 event over on PokerStars.

Thank you to Matthew Pitt, who’s keen eye helped him spot that Price would indeed be celebrating his birthday in style this year!

PS, we won’t be too harsh on Kessler and his skills as a photographer, the man had just hit a monster jackpot – cut him some slack!

Neymar Jr and Pique -EPT-Barcelona-2

Gerard Piqué and Neymar Jr. were each able to take a little time off from their busy schedules at FC Barcelona in order to play in a few events at the EPT Barcelona Festival recently. Included in the list of events the duo played was the High Roller event, one of the biggest and most challenging events on the European poker schedule.

Sadly, neither superstar was able to earn any results during their time at Casino Barcelona. Neymar Jr. will have to wait a little longer for his first score on the live tournament circuit. As for Piqué, he actually earned a pair of results at EPT Barcelona back in 2013, including a 19th place finish in the High Roller event.
